Lady Desidia is Vanessa Borrell.Vanessa grew up surrounded by paintings and she remembers herself always drawing.

She studied Fine Arts in Salamanca and then moved to Madrid, where she lives and runs her studio. 

She signs her illustration work and other projects under the name of Lady Desidia since 2008. Nature is always in her drawings and is interlaced with everyday items and absurd objects, like monsters, rare animals and cups of tea, creating small dreamy worlds that surround the characters, mostly females.

She loves cats, the beauty of the small everyday things, strange beings and nice people. She doesn’t like chickens, noise, height and artichokes.
